Evaluation Criteria for ETEC 530: Constructivism Strategies for E-Learning
It may be obvious that I become slightly carried away with the creation of this lesson. Although the assignment suggests we create a lesson with a duration of one hour, I went beyond. Since it is my goal to use the website I have created in the future, I wanted to complete the lessons required to cover the whole topic of the Evidence of Continental Drift.
Therefore, for the purposes of completing Assignment #2, Station 1: Coast to Coast and Station 2: The Jigsaw Puzzle Fit would actually be the lesson for Assignment #2. Although, as a continuation of the Continental Drift theory, Station 3: How Can Continents Move? and Station 4: Reflections were also developed. Throughout the stations there is an emphasis of constructivism through the implementation of scaffolding through the CIM (Constructivist Instructional Model and POE (Predict, Observe, Explain).
Additionally, I wanted to take the opportunity to share a WebQuest, Volcano Vacations, I had previously created for my Earth Science 11, since the topic is also covered in this unit for the Science 10 curriculum.
