Biomes and Ecosystems Are Divisions of the Biosphere

To understand the concept of sustainability, we first need to understand the factors that influence characteristics and distribution of living organisms and non-living components on Earth.

Did you know that there are eight terrestrial biomes on Earth?

We will also be examining the climate, the physical features, and the adaptations of the living organisms within individual biome conditions.

Before you continue one, it is important for you to know...
A biome includes large regions that have similar living and non-living components.
